I like visiting San Francisco. If you have never been to San Francisco, it is truly different than all of the other major cities in the United States. The people and culture of San Francisco make it a great place to visit and experience something completely different from what you are used to seeing and doing on a daily basis.

Although I think it’s a good idea to rent a car if you visit San Francisco, make sure that you stick with a well-known car rental company. The second time I visited San Francisco, I was going through a job transition, so I wanted to minimize my trip expenses as much as possible. When I was looking online for a rental car, I came across a local San Francisco company that was offering dirt cheap rates. I ended up renting a car from them, and it was an awful experience. My car broke down within seven hours of renting it, and when I called them, they said I would need to make towing arrangements on my own. Needless to say, I would never do business with that San Francisco car rental company again!
